We all know how busy life is these days!  As parents of two young daughters and the owners of a growing Dallas based business, Craig and I feel like the time just flies. We don’t always slow down to enjoy the moment. This can often cloud our perspective and sometimes cause us to forget how blessed we are to have our family, faith, and health!

When Craig and I were first approached by Passion for Children’s (PFC), the opportunity to directly choose where we wanted to make an impact immediately caught our attention.  PFC’s campaign is the vehicle we can use to help kids and their families that battle a range of illnesses everyday.

To get started, our company, VitecOnline, toured the hospital because Craig and I wanted to personally see the research, innovation and specialized care Children’s is providing kids and families. We wanted to know what makes Children’s special and guess what…..we found out!

What an amazing place it is!  It is heart breaking to see the children, tall and short, teenagers and infants, some real sick and some on the road to recovery, whose lives have been drastically altered as a result of some unforeseeable and uncontrollable illness.  Our team has decided to focus on the Center for Blood and Cancer Disorders.

Our family has recently been impacted by Cancer and we know first hand how scary, and life altering it is for everyone involved. We are asking our employees, customers, friends, family and neighbors to join us in helping to raise money and also show their support by walking with us at the Children’s Medical Center Red Balloon Run & Relay in October. Together we are going make a difference and effect change, providing hope for children dealing with cancer.
